Marine Protective Sealant enables safe and uncomplicated application for a high-gloss surface. The efficient spray sealant is 100% transparent and creates a velvety and visually uniform finish with a clear color deepening. The surface develops a high level of hydrophobicity and is protected with Marine Protective Sealant for up to half a season (depending on use, care and prevailing conditions) against new soiling and weathering such as yellowing caused by UV rays. The special formulation is optimized for use on gelcoats and boat paints of all colors as well as for salt water. Compatible with all Koch-Chemie products from the Marine line, ideal for use as a topper for the Ceramic Boat Hull.

Recommendations for use

Prepare the paint surface by pre-cleaning with our Hull PreCleaners. If necessary, polish the matted or chalked surface using our gelcoat polishes. Degrease the surface using Panel Preparation Spray. Apply four to five sprays of Marine Protective Sealant to a Polish & Sealing Towel and apply evenly crosswise to the surface to be sealed. Proceed in sections (approx. 1x1m). Then polish with a clean microfiber cloth. Do not allow to dry. The boat or watercraft must not be washed with chemicals on the same day. Afterwards, wash with a neutral shampoo during routine maintenance to ensure that the sealant lasts as long as possible.

Warnings

Check for material compatibility before use. Do not use on hot surfaces. Protect from frost and excessive heat. Do not spray directly onto the gelcoat/boat paint. There is a risk of slipperiness when used on non-slip surfaces.
